This proposed development represents an effective and efficient use of a brown field site providing student accommodation and retail use to complement the existing commercial activity.

The design of the contemporary interpretation of the style and character of the existing terraced properties has been developed in close discussion with the planning and conservation officers. The completed building will provide 74 self contained studios and three retail units with off street servicing. Cycle parking facilities and disabled parking will be provided in a secure gates area to the rear.
