Info Point – Congress of Architecture, Turin

This design is Orbit’s international competition entry for a re-cyclable and transportable pavilion to present the XXIII UIA World Congress of Architecture on the Piazza Castello, Turin. As the Info Point will be open 24/7 the building uses recycled translucent strings of sailcloth to define spaces without forming any barriers. The concept is to attract people through curiosity to find the pavilion’s content. Designed as a kit-of-parts, it can easily be re-assembled in different locations after the congress.
