Orbit Architects has been asked to develop a new Village Centre for Oxshott. In addition to a village hall the project includes a surgery, cafe and nursery which function independently but have direct access to the multi-functional hall at the same time. A contemporary and crisp design will sit between impressive trees on a prime site in the heart of Oxshott. The arrangement of the different usages provides the west facing village hall and cafe with wide open space, while the outdoor space of the nursery is east facing and protected from traffic and other activities.
