Peter Harrison Lodge, Gilwell Park

This will be the third new overnight residential building located in or around the Branchet Field camping area. It will provide overnight accommodation for 60 people in two ‘self contained’ wings with a central communal facility containing a meeting hall and dining area served by a semi-commercial kitchen. Each wing will provide bed spaces in a range of rooms, all with ensuite facilities. There will also be dedicated accessible bedrooms. The design uses natural materials in a sensitive way; providing good quality accommodation that is inherently durable and therefore easy and cost effective to manage and maintain.
