Prior to becoming a founder member of the Orbit team, Mark worked for a practise based in London and was involved in high quality residential developments and city office buildings. He also spent many years working for Ken Yeang in Malaysia.

His time at Orbit has been spent developing planning application schemes for many developments, including residential developments in Kingston and Borough, both of which are in sensitive locations, as well as proposals for the conversion and extension of a former theatre to create A3 and commercial uses. In addition to this Mark has been heavily involved in creating retail space for several major retailers including New Look, Next and River Island. Mark is an excellent designer with a thorough understanding of the planning process. He is responsible for overseeing the practice’s development of its QA procedures, and for maintaining high standards in both drawn and written information throughout the practice.
